Yeah, I admit, I tend to ramble and get off track a lot. But, hey, thanks for the compliment.

I searched for \'Cable Internet Phone Provider\' at google and found this your post (\'How Net Neutrality is Violated by Comcast (and Why We Need It)\') in search results. Not very relevant result, but still interesting to read.

I also have a huge issue with Comcast's incredibly unrealistic, impractical, unenforceable policies and terms of service. Comcast has no control over Microsoft implementing "file sharing" between all its MSN messenger users. This also applies to any Software company that offers a global messenger that implements file sharing between its users.

I have Mac's and PC's on a home network and with the advent of wireless home networking and more specifically the "Air-port" wireless technology that Apple/Macintosh uses for automatic discovery and sharing makes incredibly fast, convenient and user friendly wi-fi networks instantly.

What Comcast can NOT control, or enforce is the fact that most computer users are so computer illiterate that they don't even know they are using or creating a wifi network with their macs or other computers.

The scenario is literally a title wave of unstoppable internet usage in that, since there is almost 1 computer in every household in America, you can now drive into any apartment complex and with your laptop at the ready, connect to any number of wifi/home networks.

Comcast is merely a grain of sand in a technological evolution, struggling to maintain some sort of grip in its totalitarian frame of mind...and failing miserably.
